Shastri, a distinguished practitioner of Ayurveda, began the manufacture of Ayurvedic drugs on a small scale in 1910 in Mangalore, India. This included Classical Formulations such as Chyavanaprasha Leha, Ashwagandha Leha, Pinda Taila, Mahanarayana Taila and several other beneficial Ayurvedic preparations. He also invented his own Proprietary Formulations such as Navajeevathu, Dashaka Taila and Amritha Kumkuma Taila. These manufacturing activities were later incorporated under the firm 'Shastri's Pharmaceuticals, M. V. Shastri Sons.'
	To carry forward Dr. M. V. Shastri's core mission and in memory of his deep philosophical interest in Ayurveda and Advaitha Vedantha, the Sri Abhinava Vidyatheertha Ayurveda Trust was formed in 1992, which took over the activities of the the firm. The Trust operates under the presidentship of the Sri Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya of the Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri, India. Our Ayurvedic products are produced with the highest attention to quality, are made from 100% natural ingredients and are completely free of preservatives or other artificial agents.
